Hi

The first product deployment of webupdate gives me an error 5060 when
the wupdate.exe runs...

This is on a secure web directory.

Any advice?

Ben

I checked your server and you are running Microsoft-IIS/4.0.

This could be too obvious, but I will ask, do you have the correct Mime
types on the server....

Ok...Found out about MIME types and I put an .ini mime type in and
restarted iis6.

Now everything works as planned.

Does this mean I have to put in .0001, .0002, etc also in as mime types
before my second phase of webupdate (the next release) will work?

Kind Regards

No ;-) Mark the "IIS/Windows 2003 Image" checkbox (iDeploy Web Installation
view).

This is from the "F1 key" online help:

....

" IIS/Windows 2003 Image

[in] Mark this checkbox if your Web Update images are hosted on a IIS
Server. If marked, you don't need to configure additional mime types.

....

Does this help?

I did actually read that, but the association with Ideploy and
Iwebupdate did not come through to me...
