--- The new "SKU Management Wizard" Feature ---
We have added the "SKU Management Wizard" to SetupBuilder 7.0 beta-1 build
2441.
The "Compiler Variable Properties" dialog provides a new magic "SKU
Management Configuration" checkbox to enable the SKU Management capability.
The "SKU Management Wizard is a new timesaving feature that helps you to
maintain a single project for various flavors of an application or
application suite by filtering actions based on criteria you specify in the
IDE. When building a specific release version of the project, only those
features associated with the selected compile variable(s) are included as
part of the build.
Example: a SetupBuilder customer sells databases of "homes for sale" to real
estate corporations. They deploy about 50 individual setup.exe to specific
customers per day. Their customers always order one or more databases for
different States.
The SetupBuilder user can now build the individual setup.exe from the same
project with the "SKU Management Wizard"
This functionality is demonstrated in the new "SKU Management Demo 1.sb7"
project script.
