Friedrich,

Coming back to the maintanance plan possibility of SB if you please :

I decided to implement this feature in my app from now on to have a revenue
from updates as after all it seems to be the trend and fashion and mainly
customers receiving updates free of charge for more than two years etc ...

Half an hours work and all is set in SB : THANK YOU

Just one point already asked : it really would be nice if we could have a
function in a dll or other way to be able from our apps to read the registry
value and to extract the validity date from that value

Like this we can from within our apps display the reg key (easy enough) and
show the validity date at the same time

If possible an exe-dll which does not open any window (or taskpanelicon) and
just writes in an ini file the date ? (transparent for the user)

Merci

Hi Jean-Pierre,

Thank you!

We already have such a function on the drawing board. The problem is that
the behind the maintenance and support plan key, there is a strong encrypted
string. It's so strong encrypted that even our DLLs can not decrypt it.

So our idea is to add a function to the script list to display the validity
date of a maintenance and support plan key. You can then develop a small
application with SetupBuilder (no dialog boxes required) to read the key
from the registry and then write the validity date to an INI, text, etc.
file or display it directly through the Display Message Box function.

Jean-Pierre,

Option added to the "Verify Subscription Key" function to read the date and
version information from the subscription key.

Jean-Pierre,

<BG> Wonderful race! But what the hell... Alonso really lost two nuts. I
have never seen this before <g>. And Schumacher had a problem with his
wheel suspension. At this point anything is still possible.

What - you live in Florida and never went to Sebring?

(or were you one of those guys who goes but does not even bother to put
film in the camera you carry?)

;-)

As I recall - at Sebring you could see anything and usually saw EVERYTHING
(right there on top the motorhomes...)
