Bonjour Friedrich,

Thanks for the hotfix .... efficiency at it's utmost :)

Did I change the place of the SB program dir or does the installer not
pick that from the installation ?

I updated and find a new program group ... when it was under another one
(maybe I moved it...)

Both the "web update" and the "full install" (in maintenance mode) detect
the original install folder.

For example, if you installed the initial version to "D:\Development\SB6"
then all updates go into this folder.

Aha, okay ;-)

The SetupBuilder 6 install image always installs into the "SetupBuilder 6"
shortcut folder. It does not (and will not) provide an option to change the
name of this shortcut folder.

For SetupBuilder 6, it is:
...\Start Menu\Programs\SetupBuilder 6

For SetupBuilder 7, it is:
...\Start Menu\Programs\SetupBuilder 7

Hmm, perhaps I misunderstand. Most (99%?) installations have a "fix"
shortcut folder today. I did not change anything here for SetupBuilder
since 1997 or 1998. SetupBuilder 4 shortcuts went into the "SetupBuilder 4"
shortcut folder, SetupBuilder 5 shortcuts into the "SetupBuilder 5" shortcut
folder and so on. Microsoft Visual Studio shortscuts go into the "Microsoft
Visual Studio 200X" folder.
