We use a modified version of wupdate for handling our updates.
Everything works great, but the way we use it is to download the full
installer when there is a new version.
The "Installation Progress Dialog" gives us the option to "Allow
installation to be canceled". Here is where our problem arises.
Because we only have 1 file to download, which is about 12MB the cancel
button doesn't work. It appears the status of the button is only
checked after each file is downloaded.
We can live with that, but disabling "Allow installation to be canceled"
just disables the cancel button.
We've had customers asking us if we could enable the button, we explain
that it won't work. So then they ask why do we display it?
A catch 22.
Is there any chance that either the cancel button could actually cancel
the downloading of the current file. Or we could have an option to not
display a cancel button.
