View Full Version : How can I get Setup builder to uninstall a previous version

Hello All

I have Setup Builder professional 5.6.

I have an app out there and send Monthly updates of one file.

How can I have Setup Builder delete that one file before installing the new
one.

Assuming you know where the previous file was installed.. and its name, from what I
can see, you just need the script function

"delete Files Local" and enter the file details.

What John said. "Delete Local File(s)" is the way to go.

BTW, in the Developer Edition there is a script function called "Detect
Previous Version" to automatically detect the installation path.
