Uninstaller

Hello,

the uninstaller file and .log will not installed on my vista system.

Any idea?

1. Make sure you have a valid Uninstall .exe and .log file name in
General Properties -> Product Properties

[UNINSTALL] default is: %_SB_INSTALLDIR%\Uninst_[PRODUCTNAME].exe
[UNINSTALL_LOG] default is: %_SB_INSTALLDIR%\Uninst_[PRODUCTNAME].log

2. Make sure you have the "Support Uninstall" set to "Yes" in General
Properties -> Product Properties

Default is: Yes

3. Make sure you did not accidentally removed the 'Create Installation
Log "[UNINSTALL_LOG]"' function in your script.

Hello Friedrich,

look´s i have the same. I have tried a standard SB Setup.

What i need ist a very simple Setup for installing my app on customer systems.
because i use on directory for files and data i use a folder in the root. Most
user using my app on an usb stick. My next step is to integrate a web update
with an ini file for the settings (because most people have no installation)
and the subscription feature in my app.

I have attached my script. So you can have a look because the uninstall prob.

It's caused by the '|' in your Product Name "XRG | Elephant Brain"

'|' is not a valid character for files (or folders) in Windows.
