Hi All,

Is there a way of accessing the names of the Script Variables from within the "Call Dll Function" dialogue window such that I can paste or choose these variables as parameters for my function call. Eg if I have a function that passes the variables %SRCDRV%,%_SB_INSTALLDIR%, and %_SB_DISKSPACEFREE% I currently either have to type them in long hand or close the dialogue to copy one of them to the clipboard then open the dialogue window again to paste it, and then repeat this step 2 more times. No big deal, just a convenient feature.

While I'm at it, are all the script variables CSTRINGs? I tried to pass %_SB_DISKSPACEFREE% (after assigning the value from GetSystemInfo(Free Disk Space) as a *LONG but it only worked as a *CSTRING.

Hi Geoff,

1. Press the control key (ctrl) and the right mouse button. This will open the Insert Variable dialog. Select a variable by double clicking the variable name.

2. Yes, to make things easy all variable values are "strings".

Does this help?

Thanks,
