Hello Friedrich,

if i save my update directory on my webserver with htaccess (Username/Passwort)
the update will not be able to download my update files. I put the login data
in Enable Web Update. Problem ist both, crypted and non crypted.

Thanks much Kai

If it does not download your file from the .htaccess "protected" folder then
you have defined incorrect login/password information in your SetupBuilder
web install properties. Use the correct login/password information and you
are done.

Hope this helps.

Hello Friedrich,

it must be an other problem. If i call the file manualy and copy and past the
username / Password from within the SB settings i get access to the file.

Error message is like (german): Quelldatei nicht gefunden... WebUpdate.00001...
and next message: Netzwerkkommunikationsfehler:5060.

Thanks Kai

No, there is no SetupBuilder related "limit" in the password/login.
SetupBuilder has to supports the standard MIME Base64 encoding/decoding.

As you probably know, the MIME base64 alphabet is actually [A-Za-z0-9+/]
