Hotkey to add comment

Hi Friedrich,

Something I have always missed but always forgot to mention:

It would be very cool to have a hotkey to add a script comment. I.e.
instead of "Right click - Add Script Comment..." have a hotkey to pop up the
window. Same to insert an empty line. Maybe there are hotkeys but they are
not documented. Often times I scroll through the scripts and find a spot
where I'd like to add a comment or an empty line to break the script up a
bit. That means I have to take my hands off the keyboard and use the mouse.

Also when selecting variables, where we use Ctrl-Right-click. In the Build
Automator I use "Ctrl-Down arrow" as a keyboard shortcut where I can place
the cursor where I want the variable, hit Ctrl-Down and up pops the variable
window. When adding a variable at the beginning of an existing entry or
changing an existing variable, it can be tricky to ctrl-right click with the
mouse in exactly the right spot. By placing the cursor where you need the
variable and then hit Ctrl-Down arrow it makes it much easier to nail it to
the right place;)

If not a hotkey enabling the context menu key when in the script
editor would at least make it easier... hands on the keyboard!<g>

Yep. I also use the AppsKey in the Build Automator so you can make the
popup menus appear without using the mouse:)

Shift+Space? Way too many keys!!!<g>

Guess it still comes down to reading the docs. Do ANY developers ever
read the docs?

I sometimes search for specifics but rarely read docs for any
products. I always think of docs as reference rather than for reading.

Excellent! But I would also like to see the appkey active and an option to
insert a blank line. Currently I just copy/paste blank lines, but something
like Ctrl-Enter would be a good hotkey for that. The appkey would also be
nice. Hotkeys to comment in/out would also be appreciated since we are on
the subject:)

Kinda figured that! :-D

But, you know what happens! Charles agitates us, and we start to write
silly things - he's even made some of us "start to use our mouse more!" -
NOW, that is something to get up in arms about!

Pretty soon ALL keys will be assigned to entering blank lines and you'll
have to give them a virtual keyboard so they can use the mouse if they want
to type anything else!

But then you can remind them that THEY asked for it<g>.

You were simply being a good developer and responding to consumer demand!
