For unknown reasons, the version number stamp of the new sbuilder.exe is
still "6.9.2537". As a result, the full install image running in
maintenance mode will not update sbuilder.exe to the latest build if the
previous version was 6.9.2537. But the SetupBuilder IDE will notice the
version mismatch and the compiler will report a "Fatal Compiler Error
GEN1091: Runtime mismatch error".

Please do NOT use the full 6.9.2555 install image to update your
SetupBuilder 6.9 Build 2537 to Build 2555!

If you already updated using the full install image, you can do the
following to fix this:

Close the IDE and rollback to Build 2537 (see attached screenshot). Then do
a "web update" to bring SetupBuilder to Build 2555.

Note: this will not work for the trial version of SetupBuilder!

Followed these instructions and the About says 2555 but sbuilder.exe
still indicates 2537. I realize I used the "W" word before... did it
curse my computer?!<g>

Yes, the "2537" file version resource is correct in this case <g> We did
not release a new build and so the "version stamp" for Build 2555 is still
"2537".

But the IDE should report 2555 ;-)

Hi Friedrich,

Could you please correct the problem in the full installer? I keep a
download archive of all of the full installers in case I have to roll back
or re-install from scratch and I'd like to be able to do so for the latest
version.

Thank you.

Yes, that was my plan. We'll make a new build available tomorrow to fix
this very annoying installation image issue. As a positive side effect,
this new build includes a fix for another (long-standing) bug and two
improvements.

Thanks,
