Hi,

is it possible to create a new User Account with SB7 or should I use the
windows "net" function? I need this for a service which cannot run as
local system.

Thanks.

Markus

This is on the drawing board for a later SB7 version.

From the SB7 manual (What is Planned for Future Versions)

---

The following main built-in features (in alphabetical order) didn't make it
into the current SetupBuilder versions, but should be in one of the next
releases.

User Account Management (Developer Edition). Support functions to create a
new user account, delete a user account, add a user to a group, remove group
membership from a user, add a privilege to the user account, remove a
privilege from an account, create a new user group, delete a user group, get
specific information for the given user-ID.

Thank you. Do we talk about days, weeks, months or years?

Making new features available is a priority-driven processes. We have
internal release schedules for the next few months (until November 2009) and
that feature is not on the release list.
