Friedrich,

I was working with SB7, and at startup it informed me about new version.
The web update detected incompatible previous version and uninstalled it.
New version did not accept my maintenance plan ID (??), and so installation
was terminated.

As result, I do not have any version of SB7 no more :(

Timo,

The links are available for the FULL install in Friedrich's ANN message, so
download the full install if need be AND use your SB6.9 serial number and
maintenance agreement,

IT will work with the latest SB7!

AND, I'm sure Friedrich will respond and tell you this, as I posted in
another newsgroup, and that was his response.

Friedrich,

Got a "catch 22" situation currently.

Started up

Product: Developer Edition - Installation Authoring and Configuration
Management System
Version: 7.0.2632

It asked to upgrade to 2639 - I said OK - of course, then it uninstalled
2632 - but the current maintenance agreement for SB7 2632 won't work on for
build 2639.

Well, I had upgraded within the program the last couple times - and the
full install for sb70_2632_Dev.exe is no available - so I have had to kick
back to sb70_2625_dev.exe - where I have a full install for it.

The login is on the way (the server is busy sending subscription
notifications).

Both SB6 and SB7 are completely "in-sync" now. You can use your SB6 serial
number and subscription in SB7 now.

Friedrich,

THANK You very much! Didn't think to try the SB6 combination!

Attached is PROOF! :-D

FWIW, I received a E-mail from Lindersoft today about the new version, did
the check for update and the uninstall/install.

Then I entered the SN and Maintenance code that were in the E-mail and they
worked fine.

Ok folks, but this is not over yet...

Received later today the email with links, id's etc. personal info.
I downloaded the file and proceeded with installation.
Now, installer accepted my maintenance plan ID, however when SB7
was started this message pops up:

Maintenance and Support Subscription Plan Warning!
Invalid Plan ID(#2)

Well, see attached screen shot for full message.

Charles,

Yes, and they are the same as SB6.9, so if anyone didn't receive their
email, drop your latest SB6.9 info in and it registers.

Timo,

Same thing happened to me.
You need the new maintenance plan that's in the latest email from
Lindersoft.
Mine now works.

Hmm, I copied the ID from my SB6 and it works now.

Quick look into this and I found both strings identical, except the one from
email
have CR/LF after 77th character and the other does not have.

As David Troxell pointed out, the "new" maintenance plan is actually your
SB6 maintenance plan.

As of this version, the ones Friedrich had been issuing for SB7 beta no
longer work. So the "new" one he sent me is the same as my key for SB6.

Friedrich explains this in a thread on comp.lang.clarion today.

Check today's email from Lindersoft for a new maintenance plan string.

Jane,

Thanks - hopefully everyone has received their email - but if not -

Friedrich told me earlier - this latest SB7 build uses the same info (SN
and maintenence plan) as SB6.9 - that is what should have been in your
email, it's the same in mine.
