OK .. I have SB 7 installed on my computer ....

Then it tells me that there is an update .. so.... update ...

Then it tells me that it has to uninstall my previous version....
ok.......uninstall ..... now it asks me for serial number and Maintenance
ID.

It keeps on telling me that my maintenance ID is wrong ..... can not
continue .....

Close the installation .... oops ... where is my previous SB7 install now
..... AND WHERE is the installation that just tried to run???

Must i download the whole setup again from the website??

Inquiring minds needing some food ...

Ben

With the last one or two releases, Friedrich changed things, Ben.

Try the maintenance code for your SB6 license. It should now work for the
SB7 install as well.

The beta is over, so the beta subscription keys do not work. Registered
SetupBuilder customers received a "release candidate" subscription
notification.

Subject: SetupBuilder 7.0 Build 2639 (Release Candidate) Subscription
Program

It includes the download link, serial number and subscription key.

Hi Ben,

> ID...

Still something I would never, ever do. Things like this should not be
posted in public, period.

mmmmm.... if it can cause a problem, then there is something seriously wrong
with the release security with SB, which I belief it is not, so i have the
utmost confidence that the serial number alone has NO security impact ...

We just see things differently i guess

Kind Regards

Ben
