All,

I have attached a new enhanced PKEY.EXE code-signing helper tool (beta
version) for SetupBuilder 6.0 Developer Edition.

If you did not have success with getting the code-signing password filled in
SetupBuilder 6.0, please do the following:

1. Backup your original PKEY.EXE (located in your SetupBuilder 6.0 \Lib
folder).

2. Unzip the attached PKEY.ZIP into your SetupBuilder 6.0 \Lib folder. Make
sure the PKEY.EXE file version is 6.0.1759.0.

3. Compile your project and pray.

Does this new PKEY.EXE work?

Thanks,
Friedrich

By the way, it would be great if you could also test the new PKEY.EXE if
code-signing in SB6 worked fine for you.

Thanks,
Friedrich

Friedrich,

I did not have any problems with SB6 code signing before (running IE7 on
XP) and the new one works fine as well.

I checked the installer after the code sign and everything is fine.

Charles

Friedrich,

Checked here and it appears to be working OK on just a few trail runs.
The old one work most of the time but did fail occasionally (once a
week maybe) where I had to type in the password myself. I will let you
know if I experience that with the new one.
