Hi (Friedrich?),

Bit confused here (not unusual).

I've been plodding along with SB5 and thought I'd catch up bit. Renewed
last April and have an email from then stating I'm a "registered user of
SetupBuilder 6.9 Professional Edition" and pointing me at:-

http://lindersoft.com/sb50/downsb5.htm

When I go there it's all SB7. Don't think I've paid for SB7. Where do I find
the SB6 updates?

Baffled. And it's not even Friday afternoon yet...

Thanks

Simon

You have a valid subscription (Expiry Date: April 27, 2010) so you don't
need to "pay" for SB7 ;-) It's free-of-charge for you.

We already sent you three SB7 Subscription Notifications -- if you did not
receive the emails, please "whitelist" our domain! If you have GMail,
please check this:

If I were you, I would use SB7 (Windows 7 and Server 7 compatible).

But if you really need SB6, it's still here (you know the login):

http://www.lindersoft.com/sb50/sb69_2587_Pro.exe

Does this help?

Simon,

In addition to all of what Friedrich has already explained to you - this
issue of using SetupBuilder 6 or even keeping both SetupBuilder 6 and 7 on
the same computer was brought up recently.

Jane Fleming - an acknowledged expert in SetupBuilder - stated:

>> Both versions can be installed on the same machine, but I see no reason to
>> do so.

SetupBuilder 7 does everything SetupBuilder 6 did AND MUCH more!

In addition, here is something particularly for you as well.

Friedrich indicated by this URL:

http://www.lindersoft.com/sb50/sb69_2587_Pro.exe

you own the Professional Edition

SetupBuilder 7 Professional Edition NOW includes support for Code Signing
and Windows 7 Manifest (SB6 PRO Edition did not include Code Signing and
Vista manifest support).

A lot has changed since SB5, and I think you'll really enjoy using the
updated features.
