Quick question.

While playing around with the FTP compiler command I received a "WinInet
Error Code #2" during a compile.

Checking on MS site, WinInet returns error codes ranging from 12001 to
12156.

Does SB error #2 correlate to MS error 12002?

In this specific case, it's the GetLastError return code.
