Billboards

Hi Friedrich,

Some of my installs are "old fashioned" I guess and use a background. I
like that since I can put information there such as build date, build
information, compatibility so it is immediately and very obvious what people
are installing.

Today I wanted to take a look at billboards which I have not used in SB
since SB 4;) So what I found was that you set up your billboards and then
you use the Display Billboard, which is fine, but you can't select the
bleeping billboard into the Display Billboard function;) So would you
please bring this IDE into the 21st century and add a dropdown there?<bg>

Arnor,

An unsolicited opinion; I hate installers with billboards. They do seem old
fashioned and I don't want something covering up my whole display.

Understood, but like I said I like them because they allow me to specify in
bold letters what install it is, what version, build date etc. Yes you can
put that on the installer dialogs but it doesn't stand out as much. Since I
make different builds of my installs available I feel it is important to
make it blatantly obvious what build is being run (not to mention what
product<g>)
