Hi All,

Sorry if I sound ignorant, but I just recently purchase SB7 devloper and a Comodo certificate. I'm trying to sign an install file now and the SB IDE is asking me for 3 files. SPC, PVK and an optional PFX file. I figured out how to create the PFX file but have no clue how to create the other two.

Any help will be appreciated.

Regards,
Abe

Hi Abe,

You can read Jane's excellent articles at:
1) http://www.beachbunnysoftware.com/webinar/
2) http://www.clarionmag.com/cmag/v8/v8n11signing2.html

You can also checkout http://www.progupdates.co.za/codesigningapp/

This should get you going.

Hi Abe,

What Johan said. And check the SB7 manual (it describes what is required
and how to use the certificate).

And I would suggest to download the SB7 Examples Package. It includes an
excellent "Learning SetupBuilder Part I". "Everything you ever wanted to
know about SetupBuilder but were afraid to ask" introductory materials. It
provides step by step instructions on how to handle this.

Thanks. I've been using SB4 for Clarion for a lot of years and I have a lot
of catching up to do.
