View Full Version : Wildcard "?" fails in Install File (v6.5.1845.0)

I have files named like the following:
XXX22L01.LIB
XXX22P01.LIB

When using the Install File dialog, and specifying "XXX22?01.LIB", the compiler dos NOT find any matching files. If I change it to "XXX22*01.LIB" it works as expected.

Is the "?" wildcard not meant to be supported in the Install File dialog? (help says "wildcards" plural are acceptable)

Larry,

Good question. We are using the Clarion DIRECTORY command here. We do not do anything special here; DIRECTORY handles it all.

I'll check this.

Hi Larry,

Definitely a SetupBuilder compiler problem. Item in review.

Thank you for bringing this to my attention.

Larry,

Build 1852 is available. This should fix the problem.

Thanks,
Friedrich
