I don't seem able to save a default project location (keeps coming back to
my profile)

I don't seem able to save a path to signtool.exe (keeps coming back to
signcode.exe in the program files tree)

Just checked it and it works fine here. Nothing changed in this function
for a long time.

Try the following: close the IDE and go to "Documents and
Settings\User\Application Data\Lindersoft\SetupBuilder 7". Then remove
sb7.lic and restart the IDE.

Perhaps "something" locks that file on your machine?

That fixed it. (Although I don't have a "documents and settings" folder on
this computer <G>)

Hi Jane,

Your sb7.lic file (not damaged!) works fine here on all machines. IMO,
"something" put a lock on it on your machine (your virus scanner, etc.).

I have added an additional layer of error detection -- the next time this
happens, you should see an error code.
