I installed the very last patch of SB 6.5. I also had the patch for the sign
tool as I'm running Vista. Before install the last patch, everything was
great, the signing was working for both the installer and uninstaller.
Now my setup fails signing the uninstaller... So I tried to uninstall the
last patch of SB. (sigh). The whole SB dissapear, not just the last version.
Is there a way to reinstall the previous-to-the-current version?

I seem to find the mail - the one I want is 1845 with the 1847 patch, but the
web have 1876 already, which is the one with the signing problems. Anyone is
having problems with signing in this latest version or it is just me?

I'm only using SB to sign the installer, not to sign my software components
within it.
No problem signing with 1876 on an XP SP2 machine. I'm using signtool.exe
and a .PFX certificate file. Vista is happy with the uninstaller.

SB 1876 is working fine for me signing both the exe and the installer
(Vista is happy too<g>).

I am using the internal code signing with the PKV/SPC certificate pair on
XP (SP2)

Charles,
I think his problem in his first post was signing the UNinstaller.
That also failed for me prior to 1876 if I ticked the "installer integrity
check" box. But it's fixed in 1876.

Ah - got it.

I just wanted to let him know that it was working fine here in 1876 as
well.

For others...
The problem was with PKEY.EXE. I installed it succesfully prior to this
patch, according to
"If the SB6 process worked for you, then you can use the old 6.0 version of
PKEY.EXE (see attached) in 6.5. Please unzip the file into your \Lib
folder." from Linder.

However I didn't notice this part:

"BTW, you'll have to do this for all future SB6x updates."

I re copied the old pkey.exe and now it works again. Seems that each patch
overwrite the old pkey.exe.
