View Full Version : Feature request - #code signing dialog

Friedrich,

It would be nice if the folder location from one #code signing could be
remembered for the next command. As it stands now, I have to walk the
folder tree from the root drive each instance.

I did find a decent workaround - copy/paste the folder <g>.

Not a priority, next time you are in the area...

You mean you don't copy/paste the whole #code-sign?

If you have defined your .spc/.pvk in "Tools" | "Options..." | "File
Locations" then it should fill the Credentials / Provate Key fields for you.

But I'll add some codes so the selected folders are remembered.

I've got that done, and that is no problem. I mean the lookup dialog to
navigate to where the EXE/DLL you are code signing lives. You only notice
this when you have to code sign a bunch of programs. If one or two, its not
a big deal.

But I think what would be even easier for all, is when you add programs to
install, add a new tab to the details of the program that can allow you to
fill in the particulars. If you could add those details to the global
options then it would be easier for me as I use the same details for every
program except the file to be code signed and its description.

I think if that were done instead, then there is no need to remember last
folder used in the compiler command script.

Yes, absolutely. Already added and will be available in the next build.

Again, somebody else gets a quick fix

Russ - maybe YOU can ask him. (He IGNORES me!!!)

I think it would be nice if the code-sign either remembers the "Web URL"
which tends to be the same for each project, or uses the URL that you
specify with the new project wizard... or SOMETHING other than putting it in
from scratch every time.

Maybe if you ask him??? <g>
Please?
