How do I install/use the wucheck.exe? I have successfully used the
wupdate.exe but the wucheck is giving me fits. Would someone be so kind as
to walk me through it?

Thanks.

See the attached screenshot example (taken from the documentation).

Just install wucheck.exe and you are done. Both wupdate.exe and wucheck.exe
have to be in the same folder.

Does this help?

Hey Friedrich,

I saw that in the docs but I could not find "way" to "Include Web Update
Check Client." I thought it might be in the script functions but I can't
find it (see attached).

I knew the "read the docs" thing was coming. :-)

Thanks for the reply...

Don

<G> :-)

BTW, if you mark the "Install Web Update Client" in the "Web Deployment"
Visualizer (see attached screenshot) then the IDE will automatically add the
"Install Web Update Client" script function for you.

Yes sir, I'm talking about the Web Update "Check" Client. I can't figure
out how to add the script to include wucheck.exe.

Thanks,

Don

See my first answer (with the documentation screenshot <g>)

The "Install File(s)..." function installs wucheck.exe. See attached
screenshot.

Does this help?
