The "Add or Remove Programs" window appears to display the
[PRODUCTNAME] value. Is there any way I can extend the name displayed
there, without changing my product name?

I've been wondering about that myself - thanks for asking.

The information is stored in HKLM, and is also used by SB's Detect Previous
Version script item.

Modifying it with Regedit affects its appearance in Add/Remove Programs.
I haven't tested it, but in that it's only a display name and it's filed by
the program's GUID I'd guess it would be safe to modify.
My screen shot is on a 64-bit machine, hence the WOW6432Node stuff, which SB
takes care of addressing automatically if you're using a 32-bit installer.

Thanks, Jane! I expect that that would work.
