Has anyone created a way to import from the resulting html log file that
setupbuilder creates. I'm really bad at spreadsheets and managed to pull in
the table... but can't sort it, plus it's a real PITA to have to do
everytime.. hoping someone has done this. I am trying to find files I am
installing more than once, and if I could sort by file name I could get it
done faster.

Too bad the log isn't xml.. hint hint :)

Ray,

Can't address this directly, but you might want to consider an alternative. There
is a nice feature in SB7 that you can do static scans of any EXE you want. I
normally just delete my install files and then do static scans of every exe I
need. If there are any duplicate files, SB won't copy a 2nd instance of the file.
All you need to do after that is add any PDF, CHM, RTF, or other files you need.

Makes the task very easy, especially if you have an outdated DLL in the mix
somewhere.

Unfortunately my install is a bit complicated. I sometimes install
everything in a folder *.* then exclude certain files. I have a lot of
conditions because I have a full install, a net install, and a demo install,
all in the same install... so the log is very important and helps me debug.
I could tell I was installing several files more than once when my install
became 186mb instead of the normal 101mb. I guess I'm going to have to build
some sort of import myself... however, if the log was in xml instead of
html... it would be much easier to do... Hint Hint :-)
