I see lots of people with -1, but mine's positive 1.

I'm using C:\Program Files\Microsoft
SDKs\Windows\v6.1\Bin\signtool.exe with a *.p12 file. I do not have
separate *.spc and *.pvk files, so I've left those fields blank in the
code-sign preprocessor window.

I've read lots and lots, and I think I'm more confused than when I
started. <g>

I tried entering the password field, and the error dissappeared, and
file appears to be signed.

That was a lot of work!!! <g>

Well, I'd say "take the rest of the afternoon off" but know you wouldn't
heed...LOL...

Save yourself some work - check out the new code-signing "profiles" on the
main menu - Tools | Options | Certificate Profiles

That's cool. I'm not quite sure how to apply them, but maybe it will
make more sense tomorrow. <g>

To steal from the CHM that installs with the example files (pic attached...
refer to that CHM for a few more details).

Mike,

Actually, Certificate Profiles is quite clever and a GREAT time saver!

Previously - Each time you added a #code-sign script function, you needed
to fill in a lot of prompts.

SO, now, you create a Certificate Profle - fill prompts such as Descriptive
Name, Web URL, Credentials File and Private Key OR PFX File and Key
password, and of course, your Profile Name

THEN when you add a #code-sign script function, click on the BLUE folder
(the CHM help screen shot hasn't been updated YET to show the BLUE!) and
select your previously entered Certificate Profile -

and Viola! - lots of prompts filled in! Then modify as necessary and add
File Name.
