I have my SB installs working on old spc and pvk files. Can I simply
replace the old files with the new or do I need to jump through all of
Jane's hoops?

Thanks.

Lynn,

Well, my take on it - for now - using the older signcode.exe and spc and
pvk works fine for some in current SB - just need to keep the focus while
compiling

IF you decide to make the jump to signtool.exe

Product Description - App Data UAC Safe, MFG - Encourager Software
Internet Link - http://profileexchanges.com/blog/?p=120

Download CHM version of this blog - help topic Signtool.exe - easiest way
to get it and pvk2pfx.exe for making PFX file

Follow Jane's instructions - Learning SetupBuilder Part I

Optional - Create a PFX File

Actually, using my method to download the important files and her Create a
PFX File - not exactly barrel racing! :-D

If you already have received your new .spc, then you can simply replace the
old files with the new ones and you are done. If the password changed, make
sure to update it in your project(s).

Thank you David and Friedrich,

Pardon me for being old and stupid (and confused).

I have no recollection in which part of the process I assigned the password
in 2007. Was it with Comodo or was it in SB?

Signcode seemed to work fine for me.

Can you help the confused man?

Lynn,

C'mon - that's an insult to Jane's HARD WORK!

Product Description - CodeSign May2009 - Clarion Live!, MFG - Jane Fleming
Internet Link - http://www.beachbunnysoftware.com/webinar/

You can download the material as

* a help (CHM) file (800K) (zipped to avoid Microsoft's paranoia)
* or as a PDF file (1.9MB).

that is part of the order process if you are saving your Private Key to a
PVK file - gloriously illustrated in her screen shots!

I'm still angry about when I found out that you're not a hot blonde
chick, so this is nothing.<g>
