On the Digital Signature tab of General Information would it make sense to
have an option box to let these values be the default for the #-Code Sign
script also?

In my reading of the code signing help I mistakenly took the term
"installation and uninstaller application file" to include the included
script also.

Do you mean for your own files that you're signing within the script, Lynn?

There is almost what you're asking for now, but with a bit more flexibility.
Have you checked the recent (a few months ago) introduction of "Certificate
Profiles"?

There's more information in the main SB docs and in the "Learning
SetupBuilder Part I" that installs with the example files.

Exactly what Jane said. The "Certificate Profiles" feature can be used to
handle this.

Thanks Jane and Friedrich,

I guess I haven't studied enough to make the connection. IOW how do I know
to go to Profiles reading the docs? I'll read on.

Would not the SB install program and the included files use the same
certificate in most cases?

Probably the same certificate.
But quite likely different "descriptive name" and possibly different "web
url" (support site, etc.)

I suppose if Friedrich got really bored, he could add a "use project
settings" check box to the #code-sign directive.

We don't want him to get bored. :-)

Thanks Jane.
