Hi All,

C7.2 Build 7600 SB 7.2.3062 Win 7 64

I have turned off ALL manifest settings within the app. I have instructed
SetupBuilder to embed the manifest but it is reporting the exe is already
manifested.

Prior to posting here is what I did:
1. Nuked ALL CLW, OBJ, RSC and INC files for this app and also nuked the EXE
file.
2. Compiled the app
3. Ran SetupBuilder and received a warning the app was already manifested.

Anyone have a clue how this can be?

Thanks.

Make sure it's not still included in the project.

Lee,

Four things come to mind.
1. Double check all of the manifest related settings in the APPs global
properties.
2. Make sure there is not a .manifest file added to the project properties.
3. Make sure you are not getting a compile/link problem where the EXE isn't
really getting recreated when you build.
4. Double check the SB project embed manifest command is point to the right
EXE from you development folder.

HTH,
Rick
