Friedrich,

My install displays the license dialog. On one XP machine the Accept radio button
is disabled and no way to enable it. The user cannot continue. Saw this with my
own eyes. Works fine on my Win 7 machine. Any ideas?

If you want to see this yourself in an XP VM (or real machine), just download my
trial from my website's home page.

Hi Russ,

I think you have the "Require EULA Reading" option enabled, right? If this
checkbox is marked, you can require that end users scroll through the
complete End-User License Agreement (EULA) before installation can proceed.
This works fine on XP (see attached screenshot).

But your install on Win7 does not show this "Require EULA Reading" behavior.
The question is, why, is this so? I created a test install and the "Require
EULA Reading" option worked as expected on both XP and Win7.

Could you please send me your project file (.sb7) and your original license
agreement (.rtf)?

BTW, all my test apps with the "Require EULA Reading" option enabled work as
expected on Win7 (see attached screenshot).

Thank you, received!

It has something to do with your .rtf license file.

The same "Require EULA Reading" test app with my .rtf license file works as
expected on Win7. Recompiled with your .rtf license text does not show the
correct "Require EULA Reading" behavior on Win7 (but works okay on XP).

I'll debug it.

I think there is "something" in your .rtf the core Windows "Rich Text
Format" control does not like.

I opened your original .rtf (50 KB) in WordPad and saved it. The resulting
..rtf file size decreased from 50 KB to 9 KB and now it works fine on WIn7
(see attached screenshot).

I sent the "new" .rtf file. Does this work?

No difference. This is really weird.

Hmm... Please check your email. I sent my test binary (and the sorce
code). I have tested it on three different Win7 machines here and it worked
fine.

Got it. The exe worked fine on my Vista machine (one of the machines it did not
work).

I need to do more testing. Thank you for investigating, has to be something on my
end.
