SB 7.0.2690
Main system is installed in a 2003 server.
Terminals access the exe through a shortcut starting it in the server
folder.
When they update the system running the web update on the server and
there are some terminals using the system,
the web update installer ask to reset the server, they reset the server
and then
the exe runs ok on the server...but, it cant be run in the terminal
now if you look at the terminals shortcuts, the icon dissapears and you
cant access the propierties
The only solution is to delete the exe and dlls on the server and update
again
and then the shortcuts icon and properties appears and the terminals can
use the exe
Any way to avoid this problem?
Thanks

Sorry, no idea. Perhaps a permission issue? I don't know.

BTW, I think it's not a good idea to let the installer/updater reboot a
server environment. I would add some script logic to detect such a "locked
files" scenario to avoid a reboot.
