All,

The enhanced 'Script Structure Validation' function in SetupBuilder 7.5 to
detect and repair damaged project files causes some confusion.

I have to agree with Lee that the messages should be a bit more descriptive
and also note that selecting "Yes" won't mangle your scripts.

By default, the new SB75 IDE does a behind-the-scenes 'Script Structure
Validation' check when opening project files. This validation function can
detect and fix old .sb6 to .sb7 conversion errors (May 2009).

It does not touch the "script". The problem is that all SB5 and SB6
converted projects miss some SB7 specific properties and this might cause
problems (e.g. uninstall not being created). SB7 created projects are not
affected!

There is a new "Skip 'Script Structure Validation'" option in "Tools |
Options | General tab". If it is marked, the 'Script Structure Validation'
check is not performed when opening project files.

Sorry for the confusion.
