View Full Version : Conditionally run embedded install

Friedrich,

I've an embedded msi project that is required to install a driver for my
application. Whenever my setup is run, this msi is also run (in repair mode if
the 2nd time).

Would you direct me to a reference that can show me how to install (run) this msi
only if needed?

As usual, I was making it complex, which violates my axiom #1:

If its complex, you are doing it wrong.

Its never failed me yet. Until I stop doing this to myself once in a while, I
need that axiom <bg>
