Hi

I am using SB 7.5.3378 EE and Calrion 8 ABC EE. 8.0 8498
I have been strigling with buttons on my app - trying to get ' rounded
buttons' (Xp look)
but so far no result. Can not find anything about this in manual except ' in
Learning SB builder part 1' but I can not get it to work.
I let SB manifest my 'EXE and are also CodeSignet
Any suggestions ?

Regards

Bernhard

I have developed and uploaded a demo for you:

http://www.lindersoft.com/projects/hworld.zip

The manifest.sb7 embeds a Win7-aware manifest into the hworld.exe (Clarion
compiled app).

Result is attached.

Does this help?

Hi Friedrich

I ran your demo - the buttons does not 'round' up - have tested this on 2
different machines with windows 7.
I did manifest my app just as is shown in your demo so I have been doing
this right from the beginning
Any further suggestions ?

Bernhard

What theme are you running on these machines?

Capture the example window and attach it to your reply.

Hi Lee

Well if I change to 'Areo Themes - Windows 7 ' the round buttons show up.
If I change to 'Basic and High Contrast Themes - Windows classic' buttons
are flat (no round).
I will investigate this - thanks

regards

Bernhard

As far as I know that's expected behavior. Those themes don't have the
newer button design. The manifest provides support as long as the
theme does.
