Renaming files

I am running my installer as require Administrator and trying to rename an
installed file (in the install directory = Program Files) but it is failing
(error code 0).

Renaming anything in a CSIDL folder is fine so obviously I cannot rename
anything in Program Files. How can I do this.

I have 2 What's New files and they serve 2 different versions of the
product. Depending on the product installed I need to rename these. So it is
important.

i.e. WhatsNewEV.htm and WhatsNewHV.htm are installed but I need to rename
these to WhatsNew.htm and delete the one not needed.

Any ideas please?

Not sure what you are doing wrong. But I have attached a simple .sb7
example that demonstrates it. It installs a dummy "WhatsNewEV.htm" and then
renames it to "WhatsNew.htm".

Hope this helps.

BTW, please note that you need a custom uninstall to remove "WhatsNew.htm".

That is very odd Friedrich as I have exactly the same.

Oh well found another way round it for now but need to investigate some more
later.
