Hello Friedrich,

from another posting of you:

> System"
> filter, in the "#embed UAC manifest..." compiler directive, .NET 4.5

I assume that there have been changes between Vista/Win7/W8K compatibility
on the one side and Windows 8 compatibility on the other side, effecting
our Clarion-written products also.

Will there be a series of instruction for this new topic as it was for
Vista etc?

When that topic come up first, there were several sources, like Clarion
Magazine, this NG, Arnors blog, the Clarion-Chat on Skype, Janes Webinar
on ClarionLive!.

Every so often, when a question came up, it was pointed to one of these
separated sources.

Now that we have learned about the impact of UAC, virtual folder,
code-signing difference of require Admin / Run as Invoker and knowing that
another twist is ahead of the road, how about a strategic planning on
covering this in a big, bundled effort, once the necessary parts like
Win-8 public beta is available?

Yes, I'll make more information available on how to create Win8-aware
installations and Win8-aware applications.
