Decompression error #-200000032

Hello,

on an XP machine I get the following decompression error:


File: C:\Program Files\MyProgram\MyFile.dll [#-200000032]


But the setup works alright on other PCs.
Can you please tell me meaning of the error code and how the problem can be solved?

Hello,

CreateFile returned error ERROR_SHARING_VIOLATION (32) -- "The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process".

I assume the virus protection software is buggy (and put a temporary lock on the file but does not release it quickly enough). You can't solve the problem. Your customer should download the latest version of his anti-virus product and the latest virus definition. You can also ask your customer to add your setup to the exclusion list.
