View Full Version : Compiler variables

Hi Friedrich,

When you open the details for "internal" compiler variables, such as
[OUTPUTDIR] the variable name is disabled in the "Add Compiler
Variable" dialog. This makes it impossible to copy the variable name.
Could you make the entry field just read-only, not disabled, or some
way to copy it directly out of the Compiler Variable window?

Hi Arnór,

If you would like to use it in a field that accepts
<Ctrl>+<Right-mouse-button> then you can automatically add it from the
"Variable List".

I'll make the Compiler Variable field read-only (instead of disabled) in the
next build.

Thanks for your suggestion.

Friedrich

Hi Friedrich,

In this case I needed to copy the variable name to use in command line
testing so the quickest way was to open the dialog box and copy/paste,
except the field is disabled so no copy<g>
