View Full Version : .LIC file issue in latest 7.7

Hi Friedrich,

Yesterday SB updated itself to the latest update (7.7.3705) and now it seems
that I get a message about the .lic file not found or something
("incompatible" perhaps? I didn't take a screenshot:( _sometimes_ when I
open SB7. The file is in the folder where it claims it has problems with
it. I'll get a screenshot if it happens again. If I click OK, SB7
continues to load and everything seems to be fine. Note that this is on an
old XP Home machine (my old dev machine) I don't think anything else has
changed (no other updates have been applied and don't think I've installed
anything recently) that could affect it. I've never seen this before until
after I did the last update.

Anything I need to check?

Best regards,

Hi Friedrich,

I rebooted just now and when I started SB7 it didn't show up. I'll keep an
eye out for it and let you know if it pops up again:)

Arnor,

I think when I recently asked about this Friedrich mentioned that its a
result of my AV. Added an exception for the LIC file and SB7 folder to
be safe and its been quiet ever since.

Also reported to my AV vendor as a bug.

AHA! Thanks! That could be the reason as I installed AVG on this computer
yesterday morning! Will look into it if it pops up again!
