View Full Version : Avast Anti-virus

I'm starting to run into problems with anti-virus programs. This particular
one has to do with our update. On my biz partners machine he has Avast and
during the update, it says my update program is NOT signed.. which at first,
it wasn't... So, I made sure my update.exe program was signed... tried it
again.. still, the anti-virus software is not recognizing the program is
digitally signed.

Anyone have this issue.. and maybe a solution?

Did you ask them to right-click on it and see if there's a signature
on the properties?

Yes, we sent an email with the pictures of their screen saying there was no
signature, and our properties screen showing the signature.. side by side.
Originally the software was not signed.. I wonder if it 'remembered' it
instead of testing it again.. who knows.

It will be interesting to see their response.. if there is one.
