Path entry in folder select function

Friedrich,

Would it be possible to allow for direct path entry in the folder browse? The folder browse function in our old Wise based installers would let you either navigate/select or just type a path in an entry box above the folder tree.

I know I can add extra controls and code to sort of provide an alternate method of entry apart from the built-in folder browse function, just want to see if it can be done in a simpler fashion.

Hi Tom,

No, this is not possible. The installer makes use of a standard (built-in) Windows folder dialog and this built-in dialog does not support it.
