Friedrich,

It would be really handy to have a "#Add Lib to LibPrjIgnoreList" function
for C7 support 8-)
But I'm guessing that won't be high on the list.

Hi Geoff,

What exactly would that "#add Lib to LibPrjIgnoreList" compiler directive
do?

Thanks,
Friedrich

Friedrich,

There's a new additive to C7 that checks for a project to compile libs that
are added to a project. This means that every 3rdparty lib that's added to a
project is requested for the project (to autocompile the lib). There's an
exceptions list that the compiler uses to check which libs to suppress the
check. Each lib that is installed (by a 3rdparty product) needs to be added
to that list, otherwise the user gets prompted to find the prj file when he
opens the project.

It's not too hard - simply adding an item to the xml file (prj exceptions
list) - but it's something every 3rdparty supp (who's product adds a lib to
the user's project) will need to do for their installs.
