When running uninstaller

Setupbuilder has stopped working.
Looking for solutions

then message that Windows has stopped the program and will notify me when a
solution is available..

It is only one application that I have tested a few things that stopped
working, but I am unsure what can be the cause. Could be something with
services and stuff. The uninstall shortcut is removed from control panel,
but a uninst_carwin.exe is still present as well as quite a few DLL's. This
gives the same error.

When I rename the folder that failed, install a new version and then try
uninstall, it works perfectly.

I assume that this is not a common problem, probably me fooling around too
much, but if it has happened, I have kept the directory like it was after
crash if you are interested.

Bjarne,

Unfortunately, a million things can cause this on Vista. 3rd party security
products, Windows Defender, a machine specific problem, etc.

But you are right. It's not a common SB6 problem.

Bjarne,

BTW, is the uninstall.log still in that folder?

Yes, it is. Doesn't make sense to me though.

Hi Bjarne,

Could you please send it to support (at) lindersoft (dot) com.

BTW, this is a standard uninstall, not a custom uninstall, right?
