Friedrich,
Me again :)...

Attached is my latest sb5 file If you look at lines 77 through 96 you will
see that I am doing multiple file existance checks and displaying different
error messages and terminating the install. When running this install the
first condition (line 78) is true but the second error message (line 87) is
being displayed.

Thank you,

Michael Melby

Michael,

Compiled and executed your script. On our machines C:\Program Files\Cisco
Systems\VPN Client\vpnclient.ini does not exist.

I get the following message (line 78 is true):

"A Cisco VPN client already exists on your PC. Please contact the LMHS Help
desk to proceed."

Then the installation terminates.

I create the file C:\Program Files\Cisco Systems\VPN Client\vpnclient.ini

Now I get the following message (line 78 is false and line 85 is true):

"There is an old LMHS VPN client installed on your PC. You will need to
uninstall and reboot your PC to continue with this install."

The installation terminates.

Compiled with #1062 Developer Edition.

Any idea?

Thanks,
Friedrich
