Code Signing Problem?

I am code signing and embeding a manifest into a program when building it's
install or update. When runing the program from a shortcut on a work
station, I am getting the "Do you want to run this program?" message each
time. In a similar situation, another program we offer is run from a server.
It also is code signed and manifested an when the calling program is run
from a work station, the same message is displayed each time.

I am at a loss as to what to do. Halp.

It has to do with how trusted zones are configured.

Ron,

Not a code-signing problem at all. It's how Windows is supposed to work
(security feature).

Try to enable the "Include all network paths (UNCs)" setting in Internet
Options applet.

1. Click Start, Run and type INETCPL.CPL
2. Select the Security tab, Local intranet
3. Click Sites button
4. Mark the "Include all network paths (UNCs)" option

An alternative method is to add the IP or the FQDN of the network computer
to the Local Intranet or Trusted sites zone in Internet Explorer.
