View Full Version : wupdate - where is the registry key

I just upgraded my test app using wupdate no problem but then wanted to
reapply that install but NOT change the version number.

I need to change the registry key somehow rather than the manifest file. I
thought that key was in HKLM/Software/Lindersoft but there is no trace of it
on my machine.

Where would I change the registry key so I can reapply the upgrade?

I know it does not make sense but this is a test scenario only.

TIA

John Fligg

John,

See "Update Client Version Number..." script function.

Does this help?

Thanks Friedrich - not tried it but if it allows to me to set the number
back then that is great.

It is only very rarely I would want to use it anyway.

Many thanks

John
