Friedrich,

Feature Request:
Allow us to set our own count limit to recent projects list. The 10
count doesn't give me enough room for all the 3rd party installs I
create and having them all on the start page reduces my stress!<g>

How do I:
get my old SB7 recent project list into SB8 short of loading each one
at a time... assuming I can do that?

Lee,

> Feature Request:

I think the "Recent Projects" list has more than 10 items (see screenshots).

The "Project List" (Get Started Tasks screen) is limited to 10 items
(similar to Visual Studio 200x). Unfortunately, it's not possible to
display more than 10 items here. The resizing strategy does not allow it
and I can't add a scrollbar to the "list".

> How do I:

SB7 and SB8 can coexist on the same machine and so the recent project lists
(and other configuration settings) are stored per SB-version (e.g. V5, V6,
V7, V8) and per-user (e.g. Admin, JoeUser, etc.). You can't get your old
SB7 project lists into SB8. But I like the idea. I'll try to add an
"Import Projects List..." function to load recent projects from per-user
license files (information is stored "per-user" in sb5.lic, sb6.lic, sb7.lic
or sb8.lic). Because SB is a true mixed-mode application, different users
have different "recent projects" in SB.

Hi Friedrich,

How about an additional option in the 'At Startup' list.
As well as the current 2...

'Show Start Page' and
'Load last opened project'

you could add...

'Show Project Pick List'
and have that option auto-open the Pick list (2nd item of your
screendumps)

Good idea! It should not be a problem to add this.

Thanks,
