%SBACTIVE% script variable

Why does %SBACTIVE% appear in the SB Script Variables in some setups and in others not?
Judging by the Help, "Detect Active Application", it would seem that it should be there by default. Is there a way of adding it in?

%SBACTIVE% is NOT a built-in variable -- it's a variable which you have
defined. I think you added it in some of your scripts (e.g. when you do a
"Detect Active Application..." check).
