I have learned the company that develops our Astrum InstallWizard product went out of business. But we have to update our software to Windows 8 now (which Astrum does not support and there are compatibility issues). We have lots of customers in Brazil, Argentinia and South Africa with older operating systems (for example Windows 2000). Is the Setupbuilder software capable of doing this and would the switch be a big problem for us?

I heard that some Astrum users successfully switched to Setupbuilder but we can't say we're sitting in the same boat with our own Windows 2000 customers.

Thank you for any assistance.

Kevin,

Thank you for your interest in SetupBuilder!

Yes, absolutely no problem. SetupBuilder Developer Edition can handle your scenario. SetupBuilder is a Rapid Setup Development and Configuration Management tool for Windows 8.x, Windows 7, Vista, Windows Server 2008, XP, Windows Server 2003, XP, 2000, NT4 and even Me/98/95.

Making the switch is a no-brainer!
